restaurant

Salome is a Venetian bacaro and trattoria in Oslo’s cultural hub, Bjørvika, right next to Oslo Opera House, a stone’s throw from the waterfront, Munch Museum and Deichman Oslo Public Library.

We have an extensive menu, specialising in Venetian classics such as carpaccio and linguine alle vongole – and a large selection of cicchetti (small dishes). In addition we have rich meat dishes and a baking oven where we make make carta di musica, pizza and baked langoustine.

The creative team behind Salome is Dag Tjersland and Andreas Viestad. Dag is a chef and restauranteur, the man behind restaurants Baltazar, Skur 33 and Signalen. Andreas is one of Norway's foremost food writers and the man behind renowned grill restaurant St Lars.
